Every so often a book appears that is not content merely to comfort its readers. It demands something more difficult: that they question the very identity from which they have been living. Mastering Lucidity In The Dream Of The World is such a book.
On the surface, this is a work about consciousness, awakening, and freedom from suffering. Beneath that, however, it is an extraordinarily ambitious attempt to unify psychology, attention, identity, metacognition, and spirituality into a single practical framework. Whether one ultimately accepts all of the author's metaphysical conclusions is almost beside the point. Perhaps the highest compliment I can pay the book is this: long after finishing it, I found myself monitoring my own moments of suffering differently. Instead of asking, "Why is this happening to me?" I began asking, "What have I become identified as?" Any book that permanently changes the questions a reader asks has accomplished something significant.
Mastering Lucidity In The Dream Of The World will not appeal to everyone. It isn't trying to. But for readers genuinely seeking to understand consciousness, reclaim authorship over their experience, and cultivate a practical form of awakening, it is one of the more original and thought-provoking books I've read in this field.
Overall: 4.8/5 stars. It is intellectually bold, psychologically sophisticated, and spiritually practical. Its ideas deserve to be discussed, challenged, and—most importantly—tested in lived experience.

Chalice most deservedly gets "Five Stars" and "Two Thumbs Up"! I truly enjoyed her fresh perspective on the Vampire/Vampyre genre. I appreciated how she melded "traditional" vampire lore with a new age/modern Vampyre view. The family tree was a great help. The medical and biological narrative also resonated with me, especially within the process of "turning". The "intimate" pieces were perfectly captured both in terms of the physical and "mind-space" acts. I would be remiss to not say, I truly enjoyed the finale and so look forward to the next volume. Sidenote: The tie-ins to "Rise" did not go unnoticed.

The story was captivating, weaving intricate plots that kept me guessing. The characters were richly developed, each with their own unique traits and motivations that added depth to the narrative. I found myself lost in the author's world, eagerly turning pages. I'm ready for the sequel!

So MANY thoughts. WOW!
I had to pause after first TWO chapters to regroup my attention and focus my mind to no expectations. I was not into erotica, and I did not want to get caught up and miss the intentions.
With a clear mind I proceeded reading, 300 plus pages in, I gasped at the mastery of the story telling, the vivid descriptions of people, places and things, etc., it had me thinking about experiences that I remembered in details but not as detailed as the story was written, so I spent some time to try and sense more.
The next day of reading, left me very emotional, crying aha laughing, feeling love, ANGER and, annoyance, Yeah Errin was annoying to me and it made me wonder WHY? Not listening to her gut, numbing, grandiose… yes, I saw potential Me.
I saw she was not In love with herself… self sabotaged as well as outside manipulation.
I read day time and before sleep the last of the book, this is when I released myself from identifying and I was now observing this as Fiction. Whew! It’s A story being experienced! I can’t wait to begin BEACAN praying I don’t get caught up. This is a great message disguised in truth. Thank You Cailin and Michael!
I love the concept of living in a lucid state at all times, not just when asleep, observing our bodies, thoughts and words from the part of us that is more connected to Source. The book is helping me to grasp the idea more fully, that life is but a dream, a reality that we have created. I want to learn how to live in a lucid state and bypass conditioning which is the only thing that stops me or anyone from manifesting anything in life. Thank you Cailin for sharing your story and helping so many people reach the place of knowing that we are not our bodies or our conditioning. So freeing to picture ourselves as vibrating God energy having a human experience with us controlling the flow in the life we are manifesting.
